Needham Fire Rescue, also known as NFR, is one of more than 15 fire departments of Montgomery County, Texas. The department has been providing fire protection and rescue services since 1977. It operates several fire stations and maintains a fleet of engines, ladder trucks, trailers, tankers, and maintenance and repair vehicles. Needham Fire Rescue provides fire prevention, suppression and investigation services. It responds to emergency calls from residents and other county departments. The department also offers emergency medical services. Needham Fire Rescue is a member of the Texas Regional Response Network.
