Worst experience ever so I drove 50 miles to get to this place based on a phone call from the owner telling me that a fish I wanted was 70 bucks when I get there he says no it's 89 bucks so I asked him what you didn't tell me that over the phone why can't you just keep it at the price that you gave me he laugh and says I don't know the price of all my fish and then I told him where I drove from and how long it took me to get there he says people drive from other cities and state all the time not only am I upset but I am Furious by far the worst customer service I've ever had I do not recommend anybody go there

It never fails to amaze me but most of the bad reviews are from people who know nothing of keeping aquariums. For those people please start with cheap very hardy fish and read as much as you can on keeping them before blaming the fish store for sick fish. After fifty plus years of fish keeping I always take the time to watch the fish for a while before purchasing and on expensive or delicate fish I often ask to see the fish fed to make sure they are eating. The fish stores don't have the time or help to monitor every fish they sell. Several weeks back I purchased a tang from fishrus and it took me five days of trying every food I could think of before I got it to start eating. Now it eats anything I toss in the tank. These fish get dumped from tank to tank as they get shipped across the world. For a lot of fish it's a wonder they survive at all. Fish stores survive on a thin profit margin so give them some respect.

We love Fish R Us! They know their stuff! I have had many experiences with other fish stores state wide and this place is by far my favorite. I have purchased many fish here with zero problems... what I like is the selection of "rare" species... and if they don't have it Jason does his best to find it for you. Thumbs up Fish R Us! on a small note... If you want to blame someone for your fish dying... look in the mirror. just sayin. Oh... and when you purchase fish from anywhere you have to take them straight home and acclimate them correctly. Hopefully you did water tests before you purchased them too. AND once added use Stresszyme and salt to help with the introduction. Your fish are stressed and you have to do YOUR part to make sure they survive. You can't just add them and expect the best. If you don't know your stuff or are not interested in doing your part... get goldfish!

We spent over 200.00 dollars at this fish store. The owner was quite friendly while we were purchasing from him. HOWEVER, by the next morning one of the fish died. We took the fish back to the store, it had been frozen but, had defrosted before we got it back to him. He reluctantly gave us another fish but, said he would not replace another fish that had been eaten, it was not even one of the higher priced fish we had purchased. I had no reason to Lie. However I do now have a reason Not to go back.

The owner has no sort of warranty on his fish. The first fish we bought for our children both died within 8 hours of bringing home. The second fish we bought developed black spots and I was told to call if I had any questions about the fish, and I did, only to deal with the Owner's rude little sister who does not understand the meaning of Customer Service or how that directly relates to Business. Do not waste your money with these people.
