Since 1960, AC Controls Company has provided systems integration services, combustion and process control systems and distribution of industrial instrumentation, controls and valves. The company owns and operates one of the largest valve automation centers in the region. Administrative functions, including order processing and expediting, purchasing and inventory control are computer-controlled from its home office in Charlotte, N.C. Sales offices and warehouses are located in Greenville, N.C., Charleston, S.C., and Richmond, Va. Each office is linked via communication lines that provide real-time computer operations and seamless telephone communication. An EDI system is also in place to facilitate order entry.
