Concord Public Works is one of the departments of the town of Concord in Massachusetts that provides a range of utility services. It operates an engineering division that is responsible for the planning, engineering and construction of roads, curbings, sidewalks and drainage systems. The department s engineering division stores, maintains and updates a variety of public records, maps and plans. It designs and administers a range of public works projects. Concord Public Works also houses a grounds division that maintains public playgrounds, athletic fields, trees and conservation lands. The department s cemetery division maintains various cemeteries, including Sleepy Hollow, Old Hill Burying Ground and South Burying Place. Additionally, Concord Public Works offers a variety of waste recycling and water management services.
