Founded in 1922, Concord Academy serves more than 350 students in grades one through 12. It serves as both boarding and day school. The academy operates a library that offers more than 16,500 books. It operates a variety of departments, such as computer studies, English, math and history. In addition, Concord Academy conducts classes in modern and classical languages. It also operates visual and performing arts departments. Concord Academy offers college counseling services to students. It publishes a newspaper, The Centipede. Concord Academy operates a student health and athletic center that houses a 25,000-square-foot dance studio. The academy is located in Concord, Mass.
