Founded in 1965, St. Francis of Assisi School is a Catholic school that serves students in kindergarten through grade six. The school offers music, Spanish, fine arts and physical education programs. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, science, reading, religion and mathematics. St. Francis of Assisi School also offers opportunities to participate in sports activities, including basketball, cross-country, and track and field. The school has a parents club, Parent Association for Catholic Education, which plans several social events. It additionally provides an after-school enrichment program. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. St. Francis of Assisi School is located in Concord, Calif.
