Burr Intermediate School, located in Commack, N.Y., is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades three through five. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students and offers subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science, computer education, social studies, health, physical education, art and music. The school also offers students various sports activities. The Burr Intermediate School was created in 1988 by the Board of Education as part of the Reorganization Plan for the district. The school enrolls students who live in Commack School District North of Rt. 25. Burr Intermediate School consists of more than 40 elementary school classrooms. The institution is affiliated with the Commack Union Free School District.
