About Walter (Walt) Harris Walter (Walt) Harris has been a practitioner and professional martial arts instructor for 46 years to date, he resides in his native hometown of Columbus, Ohio where he is the Master Instructor, operating WALT HARRIS KANG SOU DO ACADEMY, from The KANG SOU DO ASSOCIATION Headquarters. In 1987 as a practitioner of the Traditional TAE KWON DO Martial Arts, he opened and his first school HARRIS’S INSTITUTE OF KOREAN KARATE, later to become WALT HARRIS KARATE, he was a member and follower of (KTA) The KOREAN TAE KWON DO ASSOCIATION, (ITF) The INTERNATIONAL TAE KWON DO FEDERATION, (USTF) The UNITED STATES TAE KWON DO FEDERATION, and (AIMAF) The ACTION INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS FEDERATION, later to follow and convert over to one of his former ITF Instructor’s New System CHOI KWANG DO, in which he was the Regional Director for the State of Ohio till 1999. After then creating his own System and fight style he calls "KANG SOU DO"!!!
