      Tom went on to Michigan State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications Arts and Sciences. While at MSU, Tom worked on the student radio station, newspaper and yearbook. He also managed to work part-time for The Lansing State Journal in the sports department.Over the next 30 years, Tom built an impressive resume as a broadcast journalist, with stops in Lansing, Flint, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Orlando and Columbus.
