As a neurologist, I specialize in the care of people with the disease multiple sclerosis. I am passionate about my career because my patients inspire me. They have courage and determination to live fully and passionately despite the uncertainties and challenges of their diseas ealth care for a long term chronic disease such as multiple sclerosis requires a special partnership between patient and physician. I take the time to communicate and understand each individual's priorities and goals. Multiple sclerosis affects each person very differently, so I provide personalized car treasure working in an environment that values not only clinical care, but also educational discovery. I think that spreading medical knowledge to new practitioners and leaders in health care is an important aspect of my job. It is also wonderful to have such a wide range of resources and team members right here on one campu hen I'm not working, I like to spend my time relaxing with my family, reading and enjoying the outdoors.
