This is going to be quite a long and detailed review so please sit back and read very carefully before even thinking about taking your vehicle to this repair facility(i use the terms repair and facility very loosely).

This is what i experienced over the course of a year after leaving my vehicle for repair::

1. A overwhelmingly multitude of finished by dates Beginning with three weeks and then over the course of a year it had evolved into a weekly call just to hear next week every time. of course that leads to number two.

2. Once they know you are not happy they stop answering the phone and shunt you to voice mail. which leads to

3. the infamous they are having phone problems on the service providers end which is why they don't receive half their calls and why they mysteriously only get half of their voice mails. Which by the way it is funny that the voice mails they always managed to receive were the ones that had had any mention of third party intervention. Also if i had as many phone issues at my business over the course of years i would be driven out of business or might actually just switch companies.

4. Then the excuses began to multiply for the delays. Jerry is a smooth talker and can charm you with that down home no nonsense attitude leading you to believe that he is just a good ole boy doing an honest days work but I CANT STRESS THIS ANY STRONGER, DONT BE FOOLED!.

5. Also folks do your research and you will find that when dealing with an auto mechanic once they are in possession of your vehicle they have you by the legal balls. Unless you can afford to have your vehicle out of your possession for the length of court trial you have to make a "Replevin Offer (http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/2737.01) to the mechanic where you agree to pay him and get your car (which he can deny) and then sue for breach of contract.

I think you get the picture by now and I hope this helps you to avoid the same stress and financial loss i did. Oh yeah here is a breakdown of the financial losses i incurred.

A. 2500.00 car rental for two month period

B. 374.00 a month for the next five years because I finally had to buy a car while my other vehicle was trapped in his possession. buying a car was the last thing i wanted to do considering i was in the middle of a house purchase.

C; undetermined amount in legal fees and loss of work

D: 1900.00 in repairs for a car that cant even be driven safely at this point until I get a Professional and Reputable mechanic to correctly repair it.

If you have any question to the voracity of my statements I do and will remain to keep in my possession text message and voice mail recordings that can clearly Illustrate how awful this process truly was.

Dont waste your money or your nerves

This will be my 4th time taking my vehicle back to his shop in 2 months. The first was because the 5 gear went out. I was told by Jerry Lee that he would have to replace it with a used transmission because it would cost to much to rebuild it. Soon after he replaced the transmission with a used one. I notice that it would grind in 4th gear some times. Took it back to him. He said that the slave cylinder was leaking and needed to be replaced. And it was not cover under warranty. Plus it would cost a additional $200. I said to do it. After getting it back it was still doing the same thing. I called him up and told him its doing the same thing. He said to bring it back in to look at it. But before I could bring it back in the clutch went out and would not go out of gear. Had to get it towed to his shop. Find out that the REAL leak was a rubber hose. And charged me another $30 to replace the hose. So after that went to pick it up went to drive it the clutch now is loose and has to be to the floor to shift. Because of air in the system. I came to the conclusion that Jerry does not know what he's doing and does not take his time whither trouble shooting.
