Dont listen to the 1 star reviews! im a beginner to hookah and have gone to many hookah places in columbus. most of the hookah shops sell cheap flimsy hookahs that are great lookers but for functionality, arent the best. decided to stop at hookah rush. i was blown away by the knowledgebase these guys had, how friendly they were, and most importantly how RIGHT they were. all i wanted when i had initially came in the store was answers as to why i was burning my hookah. i learned i wasnt packing it right, that i didnt need expensive bowls and they showed me incredibly cheap alternatives to hoses, diffusers and coals. told him about my kanjar hookah and he quoted exactly what everyone online had explained was the problem. i think what i was most impressed about was the fact that he didnt even try to sell me a hookah, he just wanted me to get what i was doing at home right first, then come back. i was so impressed i ended up buying my MYA QT hookah. AMAZING! and for $48 bux i get clouds as impressive as my friends 3 foot hookahs!!! just an awesome place i definitely reccomend for those just starting and need up front answers from an experienced knowledgebase!!!!

Never in my entire life have I...

Never in my entire life have I dealt with a business that is so unprofessional. I am a hookah builder and reseller, so I frequent a lot of stores like this. When you go into head shops, you kinda expect the people running it to be a bit flighty and absentminded. The people who work here are worse even than that— they're rude and abrasive as well. I liked to shop here, even though they're a bit our of my way, because I'm a fan of supporting local business and I liked the idea of a place dedicated to just hookahs. I'm afraid to say, however, that after my experience there today, I will not be returning.

Hookah Rush is a store that sells hookahs and accessories. Good luck actually getting any of those things, though, because they are perpetually out of stock in such basics as hookah bowls and grommets. And I don't mean occasionally, or that they're selling out really quick. They'll sell out, and not place another order for another month. Of course, the obvious solution would be to call ahead, but their phone doesn't work. And not just occasionally. I mean ever. Never in the over a year that I've been shopping there has their phone worked. Not even an answering machine to leave a message on. I don't even know how they run a business without a working phone. So I'm stuck driving across town to stop in just to see if they've gotten a new order in or not, which they rarely do.

The final straw for me came today when I stopped in to check on some grommets I had special ordered. About 2-3 weeks ago, I had stopped in to purchase a quantity of grommets. Upon finding that they didn't have enough, I asked them to special order them for me and left all the information and my phone number. Having not received a call, I stopped in today to check on the status, since their phone didn't work and I couldn't call. They had not been ordered and will not be ordered for some time. I asked about why they did not call to inform me of this and when they might get their phone fixed, the lady working flew off the hook, yelling and cursing at me (with a child present in the store, nonetheless). We exchanged words for a while, loudly, and she then shouted for me to leave and never come back. Don't worry— I won't.
