ECDI, also known as the Economic and Community Development Institute, is a nonprofit organization. Located in Columbus, Ohio, it has been operational since 2004. The organization serves Franklin, Licking, Union, Delaware, Mahoning, Pickaway and Madison counties in Ohio. It works to bring social and economic changes in society. The organization also offers financial literacy and microenterprise training services. The Economic and Community Development Institute provides homebuyer and education assistance services. In addition, it offers home repair and immigration legal services. The Economic and Community Development Institute is certified by the U.S. Department of Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institutions lender and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
