The place was a terrible experience for my Father, I was so sorry I moved him there. The staff were so friendly when I first moved him there. It was like day and night after him moved in Not enough things for the residents to do. The food was bad. Management is interested in just filling the place up. Enough said.. I won't even give it a 1 star.

Claremont Retirement Village is a wonderful place to live. The activities offered give everyone a great opportunity to enjoy local shopping and sporting events. The lunch groups are a great way to enjoy the local restaurants. Mostly, I enjoy my screened in porch, which gives me the space to plant my flowers every year. I would recommend Claremont as a great place to live. There is a sense of community and friendship which is hard to find anywhere else.

The Claremont used to be wonderful place to live. The Owner however has made some horrible changes and needs to retire. They had lots of top-notch employees who work extremely hard for the residents. The owner doesnt value hard work or devotion and believes good employees are a dime a dozen. She pays horrible, does not pay benefits of any kind and cuts corners at all costs while she lives in one of her two homes in the south. She should be known as the slum lord of retirement living. She lacks professionalism both with her staff, residents, and families alike. She has no clue the importance of customer service, building relationships, treating people well and she is not a senior advocate. If you are visiting on one of the few days the owner is in town and she is in the mood to introduce herself she will do so by saying she is the owner. I suppose since the building is named after her and there is a tacky glamour shot of her in the front foyer she feels there is no need to let her te
I have been a resident here for a year and I think this is a great place to live. The layout is easy to live in, because it is all on one level. Each apartment has an enclosed patio to enjoy most of the year. Individual gardening is encouraged and many of us do just that. The staff is friendly, caring, and, most of all, respectful of us. The activities that are available are too numerous to mention, but I'll try. There is a daily excursion to shop at a variety of stores. At least twice a month a group goes somewhere for happy hour and appetizers. A monthly trip to a play is available for residents to attend. Plenty of trips to go out for breakfast, dinner and special shopping are planned and attended by a lot of the residents. Our bus is available for doctor visits and is custom scheduled for our convenience. In short you can't find a better home environment in which to live.Lee Mascarello
