We always stop when we're in the area, definetly one of our favorite "Mexican" resteraunts in town. Food is usually pretty good, prices are decent & most of the employees are super friendly (minus our last waitress). Overall I'd recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat.

I took advantage of an unseasonably warm November day by having lunch on Abuela's patio.



After munching on the obligatory Mexican chips and salsa, I ordered the Tilapia Veracruz ($10). The dish consisted of sauteed tilapia, scallops and shrimp; tomatoes, roasted poblano pepper and olives. The dish also came with vegetables and cilantro rice. The meal was well seasoned (not too spicy) and well cooked (veggies had crunch).



With the 70-degree weather, the patio was a delightful lunch spot, and I noticed they also have ceiling heaters for cooler weather. On balance, Abuelo's is a nice, inexpensive dining spot.

Great food. Always hot and well prepared. Their mashed potatoes are the best in Columbus. Their stuffed chicken with cheese sauce is fantastic.

Authentic, delicious food. Try the fish tacos.
