A Y Manufacturing s goal is to bring world-class technology to sunroof manufacturing. A Subsidiary of Yachiyo Industry Co., of Japan, A Y has received a number of honors, including ISO 14001 certification, the Honda Delivery Performance Award for 2003, the Honda Quality Performance Award for 2001 and the Honda Plant Manager s Award for the 2000 Acura CL new model launch. Founded in 1992 as ASC, the company began mass-producing Honda Accord sunroofs in 1993. It produced its 5 millionth sunroof in 2005. Its primary products include fully automatic power sunroofs, pop-up or removable sunroofs and finish coating of metal parts. A Y Manufacturing is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
