Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Columbus, NC halfway between Asheville and Spartanburg, Red Door Recording is a 330 sq ft recording studio that specializes in recording pristine sounds for the acoustic musician. We are a relatively small studio with a sweet gear list Lynx Aurora 16 Channel Mastering A/D & D/A Converter, a matched pair of vintageKG C414EB mics, Blue Kiwi, Presonus ADL600, Warm Audio WA12 and Focusrite ISA-One preamps, and a Gretsch Catalina drum set are just some of the equipment we have to record your music. Top local studio musicians are available to help you realize your full potential. We also do multi-track remote recording to faithfully capture live performances from church choirs to rock bands. We know from experience how difficult it is to make a living as a musician and to that end we have set our price at $30.00/hr. Our mission is to make it possible for the working musician to be able to record his or her music and leave the studio with a great demo or full CD without breaking the bank!
