Located in Columbus, Ind., Parkside Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school s academic curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as math, language arts, social studies, physical education, science, instrumental and vocal music, drama, art, computer literacy and vocational arts. It encourages students to participate in a range of extracurricular activities and sports. Parkside Elementary School offers more than 15 clubs and extracurricular activities, including band and student council. Its sports activities include football, softball, wrestling, basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, baseball and track. In addition, Parkside Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and book fairs. It is a part of Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation.
