Dr. Ann Esquivel joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2016 after completing her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She is a native of Plainfield, Indiana and is excited to have the opportunity to return home to Indiana to practice in her specialty. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Esquivel worked as a Spanish teacher, then served as a volunteer for medical brigades in Quito, Ecuador. She returned to Indianapolis, where she worked as a Spanish medical interpreter at Wishard Hospital, then completed medical school and Pediatrics Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Esquivel has specialized training in asthma, hypersensitivity skin testing for inhalant and food allergies, oral food challenges, and atopic dermatitis.
