Morningside Baptist Church, located in Columbus, Ga., began as a mission church with 85 members in 1952. The church is a missionary of Calvary Baptist Church and the Columbus Baptist Association. It offers various services, such as daily prayers and music ministry. Its religious services consists of singing groups for all ages, an orchestra, singing ensembles, a drama ministry, an audio-visual ministry and a praise band. The church offers special classes for children that includes caretaking, religious resources and Christian teachings. Its student ministries offer Christian education to middle and high school students. The church s education ministry provides various youth and children's programs. Morningside Baptist Church also offers women's and men's Bible studies and activities for all ages.
