Facility Services, a part of University of South Carolina, is responsible for ensuring an environmentally safe and well-maintained university campus. The department provides utility, moving, recycling, administrative, facility maintenance, custodial care and waste management services. Its administrative services department handles matters related to budgeting, accounting, human resources, and work and information technology management. Facility Services is also responsible for providing cleaning services to administrative, academic and auxiliary facilities in the university. Additionally, the department maintains a maintenance program dedicated to providing care and maintenance for turf areas, landscapes, roads, walkways, drives and various outdoor amenities. Facility Services is located in Columbia, S.C.
