Having studied with many of the top photographers in the world, Marcelle Raphael is also an award winning maternity and newborn baby photographer serving primarily Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, Chapin and Blythewood, but has clients from all over the state and even the world. A professional photographer for 15 years, with a studio located in the Harbison area of Columbia, South Carolina, she brings her photography skills to the heart of the capital city and beyond with clients from the surrounding southeastern states, as well as, around the country. Along with her studio business, she is a leader and educator in the photographic industry where she is the current Executive Director of Professional Photographers of South Carolina, the Assistant Director of the Lamarr Williamson School of Photography and an affiliate leader in Professional Photographers of America. She is a photography educator and loves to teach blooming photographers who have an intent to “go pro” in the photographic industry. Her photographic skills provide your family with stunning, elegant and heart-warming newborn and maternity images for your family to enjoy for generations to come. It is very important that you choose a maternity and newborn photographer to fit your style and vision for your images. Marcelle’s style is clean, classic and simple with a focus on black and white images – the color images always being and option, too. The most rewarding part of any session is seeing how her images create happiness. She loves turning every image into something special to be treasured for a lifetime or even generations.
