      My Philosophy "Where you invest your love, you invest your life." I'd love to be the author of this quote but it is from a band called Mumford & Sons. This quote, from their song Awake My Soul, really resonated with me. My photography comes from a place of love: my family, my children, my friends, my memories. I can photograph almost anyone, but I love love love to photograph children. My portrait work has evolved over the last 6-7 years, and I'm aiming to capture the child not only as a child, but as who that child is: your child, your little human being. When I take a portrait of your newborn its not only a photo of a baby but your baby. When I photograph your child looking into my camera, I'm seeing them observe me back, I'm not only photographing them in that moment in time as a child but capturing their essence, their personality, their individualism, their humanness.
