  The skin type or skin color: darker skin types, because they contain more color or melanin in the skin, typically requires more caution because the laser’s wavelength is attracted to the dark pigment in the skin AS WELL AS the tattoo ink. This is called a “competing chromophor” or competing color-target for the laser’s energy. Therefore, darker skin types can have greater healing issues such as hypo-pigmentation, post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation, higher risk of scarring, and can not undergo repeat laser treatments as frequently as lighter or more fair-colored skin types. Please note that all skin types can undergo laser therapy for tattoo removal, but proper laser treatment parameters, extended periods between laser sessions, and wound-care protocols are crucial for successful outcomes.

  Your ears create symmetry and balance for overall facial aesthetics.  Otoplasty (ear surgery) can correct deformities present at birth as well as those caused by injury or trauma.
• Mohs Surgery
  Some skin cancers can be deceptively large – far more extensive under the skin than they appear to be from the surface. These cancers may have extensions or roots into the skin, or along blood vessels, nerves, or cartilage. Skin cancers that have recurred following previous treatment may send out extensions deep under the scar tissue that has formed at the site. Mohs surgery is specifically designed to remove these cancers by tracking and removing these cancerous extensions. For this reason, prior to Mohs surgery, it is impossible to predict precisely how much skin will have to be removed.

  The neuromodulators, Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®, act to temporarily improve the look of frown lines, or wrinkles of facial expression.
• Brow Lift

  Loss of the skin’s natural elasticity, weight fluctuations, pregnancy, and gravity eventually begin to have an effect on the appearance of a woman’s breasts.  A breast lift procedure removes excess skin and tightens the surrounding tissue raising the breasts and rejuvenating your figure with a breast profile that is more youthful and uplifted.   The areola can also become enlarged and a breast lift can reduce this as well.

• Blepharoplasty
  Our eyes tell a story and are the first thing people notice.  As you age, drooping of the eyebrows, looseness of the eyelid skin and bulging fat can make you appear tired or older than your age.  You may have impaired sight or loss of peripheral vision from the excess skin of the upper eyelid drooping over your eyes.  While blepharoplasty is more commonly performed on patients in the middle to later years, genetics in younger individuals may create similar issues. This treatment gives excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and sun damage. One laser peel is the equivalent of 4-6 microdermabrasion treatments.
