Upon much word of mouth about Devine Street Tattoo I went for a massive cover up piece and Rash was very intuitive of my wants. I look forward to many great sessions.Highly recommended for professional and clean shop

Absolutely horrible customer service. They were incredibly rude even when only asked a simple question. They were recommended to me but I wouldnt ever recommend them to anyone else. I turned around and walked out without a second thought. Very arrogant, and incredibly rude.

I wouldn't recommend Devine Street. I went in for my first tattoo on the recommendation of a friend. They were very impatient and seemed irritated at the fact that I wanted things changed around on the original design that they drew up. I also wanted the tattoo on my foot, but was told they wouldn't do it because it was too risky and could get infected. They talked me into changing my original placement rather than working with me. I bled much more than originally expected, and after it finished healing, I realized that I had a lot of scarring. Once it was finished, it was like they couldn't get me out of there faster.



After speaking with other artists from other shops, I've been told that they pressed too deep (hence the bleeding and scarring). I have quite a few tattoos from other artists now, and NOT A SINGLE ONE has bled since that initial tattoo from Devine Street. This first tattoo was a learning experience that no one else should have to go through. I would not recommend them at all.

Devine Street Tattoo does great work! My stepson and I both had a tattoo done here, (not the first for either of us) We both plan on having more work done. Great Staff, clean, friendly, atmosphere and excellent work!!! I will be a customer for life!

Devine Street Tattoo is the best place to get a tattoo in South Carolina hands down! All of the artists in the shop are very skilled and totally professional. Eric Michalovic has done two tattoos for me and both are awesome, one is a 1/2 sleeve koi tattoo that is truly a show piece!

I have had four tattoos from Devine street and each one speaks for itself. The work is amazing. Nowhere else in Columbia or even South Carolina will you find an artist who knows as much or is as talented as these guys. Even the apprentices are better than most "artists" in the area. Devine Street is seriously Columbia's "diamond in the rough." A bad tattoo would not walk out of that door. I recommend this shop to anyone who asks about my tattoos or expresses an interest in tattoos and will continue to do so until people start realizing the value of this place.

hands down the best dudes in sc. Every single person there is solid, professional and super nice. The apprentices are better than most shops main artist. Oh and of course eric kills it. I have four tattoos from him including a full sleeve. Dont waste your money on some halfassed barney artist at other shops, this is the real deal. Dont blow it.

First off, I came to the studio finish a japanese piece I started out of state. I saw a few online pieces of work by Eric and was impressed. However, When I met him he was rude and was almost hesitant to talk. I showed him my outline and he completely started bashing my tattoo. Saying he wouldnt touch it and it was "jacked up". Mind you my piece was done by a respectful artist in NYC and have only got compliments and its not even done. I was so caught off guard, one of his other artists he pushed me off to had started talking to me about how he can finish it. Later did I find out this guy was an apprentice!!!! He sent me to an apprentice to fwork on a tattoo half the size of my back!! It was crazy how rude and complete disrepect this guy showed me and my work in progress. Its ironic how quick he was to judge my tattoos, when in fact if you ever meet Eric, his tattoos look as if they were donee in the dark. Its important to have a good connection with your artist, so double check before going here. This guy is a complete d**k who should learn some respect and manners.

Got my first tattoo from Eric. It's a back/chest/leg piece and he's been amazing working me through it. Very, very talented artist (and impressively humble.) Best in the area for authentic Japanese style.
