my father worked on all sorts of clocks mostly antiques. grandfather clocks, you name it he would fix it. he actually had to repair more than one clock that had been to the Clock Doctor first. usually left in the same or worse condition (like being over sprayed with lubricants to try to make it run instead of doing quality work). the repairman himself is an older gentleman who has been trained how to repair clocks but doesn't seem to do quality work. This is purely my opinion but after working on clocks with my father i have to agree with him that most people should avoid going to this guy for serious work on their clock's.
