Jefferson Middle School, located in Columbia, Miss., is operated by the Columbia School District. The school enrolls students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum consists of mathematics, science, social studies, English, art and physical education. It provides special education programs for students with speech and learning disabilities. Jefferson Middle School conducts a variety of athletic activities, such as football, softball, basketball and baseball for the physical development of students. The school also organizes various cultural programs and enrichment activities, such as field trips and educational outings. In addition, its Beta Club participates in several community service projects, including food drives and Teacher Appreciation Day.
