These people are PROFESSIONALS. My wife is a very discerning (some might say demanding) individual and can be difficult to work with. And even she was pleased; actually more than that she was genuinely impressed. The four men that moved our 5,000 sq ft home in Columbia, MO did an outstanding job and were very obviously well trained. They were efficient; no bathroom, snack, or cigarette breaks here; (their choice not ours) and they were unfailingly polite and courteous. One of the men was even able to engage my two young boys who were underfoot and trying to "help" by assigning them small tasks. Overall it was an excellent experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

The amount of damage this company did to my belongings and home was extensive I call ed (there were even muddy foot prints on the bottom of my dining room table where they had turned it upside down and walked on it, breaking the leaf). I was told someone would contact me. Called again, two days later and was lied to by the woman on the phone. She said they sent me an email asking for pictures. I never gave them an email. Again she said she would have someone contact me.After several calls a manager and one of the original movers came to the house to see the damage. The very first thing I showed them, the mover said they didnt do it. I disagreed and told them, yes you did. He began yelling at me and calling me a liar. I told him to get out of my house. He slammed the door as hard as he could on the way out.The manager took pictures of the damage and even he argued with me about it. Said he would be back at 6pm to tell what was decided. Never showed or showed. Horrible company!

The TLC Moving guys certainly made our moving experience soooo easy! They were punctual; extremely courteous, patient, thoughtful & careful with all our items. They totally filled, and then emptied the enormous moving truck with our "treasures" on a HOT summer day with no complaints. It was most refreshing to meet such fine guys with the great attitude they had toward us and their work. We HIGHLY recommend TLC Moving in Columbia, Mo.

WOW WOW WOW! These guys were so awesome, seriously cannot believe that this was the first time that I used TLC Moving! A friend of mine who moved to the lake recommended them and so I called them on her recommendation. They literally did a perfect job! I cannot believe I am saying this about a moving company:):):) They showed up on time and were so polite and professional, for the first time in my life I tipped the movers, and my husband was just as impressed! Just cannot say enough good things about this crew! 100 STARS!

All can I say is "WELL DONE" Finally a moving company that actually knows how to move stuff! The guys arrived on time and immediately got down to work. They wrapped everything, and I mean everything. The whole process could not have gone better, from the initial bid, to setting up the appointment, and then the actual move. This may be the first move that I have had where nothing was broken! It is just so refreshing to have a company that actually did what they advertised, and did it well. I will tell everyone about these real professionals!

This is not the same TLC moving that I hired 3 1/2 years ago. They took no care in protecting any of my furniture while moving it to and from the truck. They were in such a hurry that several pieces of furniture had to be cleaned after they were finished. I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again.

hands down the best moving company in columbia. i have used them on two separate occasions, once here in town and another time down at the lake, excellent work both times. they just moved my brother and wife over the weekend (she is very particular) and i was a little worried about it, but they even made patti happy, which is no easy feat. so thanks tlc.

SOOOO Great! These guys are a local company, and they really care about their customers! I originally hired them to move just the "big stuff" but when they arrived my husband and I asked them if they could go ahead and move everything. They said no problem! They called an extra guy, and got what I thought was a HUGE job done in about 6 hours! Super careful and VERY flexible! Highly reccomend!

They moved me and my wife over the weekend and I was so pleased, the whole move move just went very smoothly. They got my 54 in flat screen over to the new place without a scratch! And my wife's piano, was no problem. Well done, ask for Linzie.

I have used TLC twice now, and both times they have done an excellent job! They even went above and beyond and assembled a shelf for as no extra charge just to be helpful!

I used TLC to move, and they were great. They were dependable, professional acting, and helped pack a few things to better protect them.

I set up my moving appointment several months in advance and confirmed it a few days before I was scheduled to move. When the movers were 20 minutes late, I called the office to inquire about the delay but no one answered. I left several messages that were never returned. It's not as though I was calling after business hours or on a weekend - it was 2:20 on a Thursday afternoon. As far as I am concerned, TLC stands for A Totally Lame Company. I had to resort to calling friends to help me load my moving van. The movers finally showed up an hour late. I understand it is not their fault if the company over booked them; all I was expecting was a phone call or some notice. Needless to say, the movers DID NOT get paid the two hour minimum for an hour of work. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone who expects punctual service or customer service.
