- Dental ExaminationWhile we welcome you to bring any dental records you may have, we do not routinely request records from a prior dentist. We are often able to accomplish our comprehensive exam and develop your treatment plan using the diagnostic information we gather clinically. If we need records, we will be happy to assist you in obtaining them.
- X-raysIn addition to classroom instruction, we have hands-on training in a clinical setting, where students can practice their skills under the supervision of licensed dental professionals. Clinical experiences include performing chairside procedures, taking and developing dental x-rays, and managing patient records.
- Oral Cancer Screening
- Teeth CleaningFamily members eligible for discount plan include spouse and two dependent children under the age of 18.
- Fluoride TreatmentAfter one of our hygienists removes any hard deposits from your teeth and conducts a thorough exam, the hygiene assistant will polish and floss your teeth and give you a fluoride treatment to keep your enamel healthy and strong.
- Fillings
- Resin CompositeDental fillings are a common and effective solution for individuals who have cavities or other types of tooth decay. Tooth decay occurs when the bacteria in our mouths create acids that slowly eat away at the enamel on our teeth. If left untreated, this decay can lead to pain, sensitivity, and even tooth loss. Dental fillings work by removing the decayed portion of the tooth and filling the space with a material such as composite resin, amalgam, or gold.
- VeneersDental veneers are a cosmetic solution for a variety of dental problems. They are thin, custom-made shells that are placed over the front surface of your teeth to improve their appearance. Veneers can address a range of cosmetic issues, including chips, cracks, stains, and gaps between teeth. They can also be used to correct the shape or length of your teeth, creating a more uniform and attractive smile. Veneers are a minimally invasive procedure that can be completed in just a few visits, and they are a long-lasting solution that can provide you with a beautiful, confident smile for years to come.
- CrownsOne of our doctors will thoroughly examine your teeth, your occlusion (the way your teeth touch), and your gums. She will look for decay, gum disease, and oral cancer. With the help of the assistant, she will note all the fillings and crowns you may currently have as well as any new treatment you need. Even though our X-rays are very advanced, they are not helpful in diagnosing cavities on the biting surfaces of teeth and therefore we use DIAGNOdent. This laser device detects cavities in this area. If any of your teeth need restoration, Dr. Mary will demonstrate these needs on the screen using your pictures and X-rays.
- Bridges® crowns and bridges are made of high-quality materials and can be just as durable as traditional restorations. However, the longevity of the restoration depends on proper care and maintenance, including good oral hygiene practices and regular check-ups with a dentist.
- Restorative DentistryDental assisting provides opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. Dental assistants can specialize in areas such as orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and prosthodontics.
- Root Canal TreatmentAre you experiencing severe tooth pain, sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures, or swelling in your gums? These symptoms may indicate an infected tooth, which can be a serious dental problem. Ignoring the issue can lead to further complications, including abscesses and even tooth loss. Fortunately, a root canal procedure can help to save your infected tooth and relieve your pain.
- Dentures“Before I had my restoration my life was very hidden. I would talk with my mouth half closed or my lips to the side covering up a missing or rotten tooth. My grandmother had dentures before she was 50 and my mother had a lot of work done before she was even 45. Part of it was genetic and part of it was neglect. After all the work I've had done I just feel free. It's just given me a new life."
- Dental ImplantsDental implants last an average of 25 years, but with proper care and routine dental visits they can last a lifetime.

I'm getting braces at 43 and they have helped make this possible by coordinating my benefits and allowing me to make the best possible use of them.
