      CPR Classes for Healthcare Providers BLS for Healthcare Providers What does this class cover? The BLS Healthcare Provider course content includes one and two-person CPR, techniques for relief of choking, use of airway barrier devices, bag-mask ventilation and an AED. Who should take this class? This course is designed for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, nurses, physicians, dentists, physical therapists, respiratory therapists and others who must have a credential documenting successful completion of a CPR course. How long is the class? The initial BLS Provider Course is a 4-hour class. The 3-hour Renewal course offers a course review and updates for experienced BLS Providers.
