Established in 1853, Immaculate Conception School is one of the finest Catholic elementary schools in Illinois. It enrolls more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school s educational program includes classes in religion, reading, English, language arts, geography, science, social studies, math, art, Spanish, civics, and computer, career and physical education. It also offers before- and after-school programs, as well as organizes various fundraising charity events. Immaculate Conception School features a playground, computer lab, mobile laptop cart, library and cafeteria. The school offers various sports activities that include basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball and track and field. Over 100 students participate in its band program annually. Immaculate Conception School maintains a location in Columbia, Ill.
