I bought some of the coolest stuff there. Everyone at the store was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great quality furniture/TVs and electronics at affordable prices. Their interest rates are no higher than any of the other stores I've looked at.

I had a contract with alternate source for 3 years.. I bought furniture from a guy named Shawn who claimed that it was solid Oak.. I got screwd had a contract for 3 years spent way over 10,000 dollars.. contract ended after 33 month so I stopped the allotment and now they are still saying we owe close to 6,000 dollars... They are a predatory lender.. They pray on young soldiers who are nieve and just got out on there own... What a way for a company to take advantage of the military... I will fight them all the way and I will spend every dime i make to fight this... Please do not buy from them!!!

I am coming up on the end of my contract with the Alternate Source, and now they are trying to charge me late fees and threatening me with legal action! I have never been late on payment and I have the statements to prove it! they just want to drain poor people for all they can get and I am pissed about it! Do Not use these people, you are better off just saving up and buying what you need or what from Best Buy or Wal Mart or somewhere! It will save you thousands in the end!!!!! These people are scammers!!!!!!

These people are horrible! Everything is ridiculously overpriced and installation charges are a joke. Being so close to Fort Carson, they try to scam young soldiers by offering ridiculous interest rates. Ahhhh I am so pissed. Im better off going to best buy

I don’t think anyone could say so many good things about this place, they rip people off all the time! Just go in to their store write down the item model number of what you want and google it and you will find it hundreds cheaper and not paying 21% interest for 24 months. And the worst thing about them is they do not price match!!!

I recently purchased a system at The Alternate Source, and have to say that not only wasit easy to get a line of credit, but that staff there was extremely helpful. The sales rep was very knowledgeble and I got a system that I not only LOVE, but the payments are reasonable. I was under the impression that since my credit is so terrible that I would be stuck with getting high interest for a very basic system, but that was not the case. The install was done very professionally and clean. What more can I say? I was very impressed, and I am so glad that my friend recommended me to come here.

Complaint Description:I bought a radio for my older car and was told that because it was an older car it might cost an extra $16.00 to install. I called and made an appointment for Tuesday between 12:00 and 3:00pm. My wife went in and they did not recall making the appointment even after I asked them if they could be more specific on the time frame. When I stated I did not feel my wife would want to wait three hours they blew me off. My wife made a time specific appointment for 4:00 Thursday April 16.They told her it would cost $50.00 to install my radio because it was too small. No one ever stated anything above the $16.00 they told me. The contract states no returns so I have been scammed. If I want this radio I have already paid the fee and they want more than the price quoted!
