Evans Elementary School, founded in 1961, offers academic instruction and learning opportunities to students in grades five and six. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as social studies, math, music, science, physical education and English. Its campus includes a computer laboratory and library. Evans Elementary School also offers child nutrition programs. The school provides guidance counseling, health care and food services. In addition, it administers the English Language Learners program. The school operates a student council and conduct club. It publishes a parent newsletter, Albertville Advantage. The school additionally manages a parent-teacher organization. Evans Elementary School is governed by Albertville City Schools.
