The El Paso County Department of Transportation, governed by El Paso County in Colorado, operates administration, asset management, highway, and survey and inspections divisions. It provides the Adopt-A-Road program. The department s divisions offer road and general maintenance, inspection and transportation planning services. The El Paso County Department of Transportation also maintains an engineering design and program management group. It has the Highway Advisory Commission, which provides advisory solutions related to transportation operations and activities. In addition, the department s engineering services group is responsible for engineering designs, plans and the coordination of projects that include road rehabilitation and new roadway design.
