Founded in 1995, Cheyenne Mountain Charter Academy provides education to students in grades kindergarten through eight. Its curriculum includes math, English, science, American history and physical education. The school publishes newsletters and organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as math Olympiad, arts and crafts, painting and music competitions. It has various student clubs and a parent-teacher organization. The school offers various sports activities, including basketball, volleyball, and track and field. It uses an automated call system to notify parents of snow days, snow delays and other important information. It has a computer lab with Internet access.
