AOC products are manufactured in facilities strategically located in United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. AOC is a global supplier of resins, gel coats, colorants and additives for composites and cast polymers. AOC offers unsaturated polyesters, vinyl esters, hybrids, blends and specialty resins for the polymer composite and cast polymer industries. The core of AOC today was formed in 1994 through a joint venture of the resin businesses The Alpha Corporation of Collierville, Tenn., and Owens Corning of Toledo, Ohio. Alpha was among the leading producers of open mold resins and Owens Corning's dominated in closed mold resins. In 1998 the Alpha Corporation and an internal management group purchased Owens Corning's interest in the joint venture. The new, single organization focused solely on meeting the needs of unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resin users. AOC-owned facilities are ISO 9001:2000 certified. The company is headquartered in Collierville, Tenn.
