I was very pleased at first with the staff, but it seems to change every time I go in (which, arguably, wasn't very often). I was put off when I was in there one day with a question about my policy and the lady at the front desk told someone who called in on the phone that the agent was out of the office when he clearly wasn't (and was there for at least the next 30 minutes while I was there and he didn't appear to be busy).



From that experience, I decided to call and see if I could speak with the agent, but every time I called he was in a meeting or out of the office. I even emailed him a few times and the one time I got a response, it was almost a week later. If I'm paying insurance every month...and more so just to have a local agent...I expect to be able to talk to him.



I have since switched to another local SF agent who actually responds to emails (and timely!) and can reach him on the phone if needed. He's even open on Saturdays! I feel as a business that is providing a service, they need to have hours outside of your standard 8-5.



All in all, I'd say good staff, but an agent that's unreachable in my experience. I would stay away.
