This facility is appalling. The management team needs to be completely thrown out. The administrator acts like a toddler, throwing temper tantrums at staff, in full view and earshot of residents. The constant belittling and demeaning way she treats staff is inhumane. Aides sit down to chart at the nurses station and get yelled at for sitting. She has been there for months and still doesn't even know the names of the aides. She seeks out reasons to fire the few good workers that this place has. The scheduler has no idea what she is doing. The schedule is always messed up, having names crossed out all over the place. She was put into that job so when the staff are short, she can help on the floor, but NEVER DOES. She constantly leaves the building understaffed, even though the state has repeatedly said they need more people on the floor. There were, on more than one occasion, one aide for 28 residents! And still, the scheduler didn't help on the floor. Aides are working with no lunch breaks, for weeks, and months, in a row. The residents are suffering because the staff are so overwhelmed. And yet, the administration just keeps piling on more and more work. Bottom line is the aides are being mistreated by the very people who are supposed to have their backs. Management likes to focus on the rights of the residents, but staff have rights too. Unhappy staff equal unhappy residents.
