My husband and I moved in October of 2017. We have had issues since the day we moved in. First the rent is crazy high we pay $1,135/month, that is for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. We have had the doors (all of them) worked on the first time none of them were flush so there was half inch gap between the door when they were closed. Then we had a gap under the front door in which you could hear the wind outside it sounded like a tornado plus you could see the light from outside. Those issues were resolved by the contractors. In my daughters room she couldnt close her closet doors (which was not fixed by the contractors) We also have since then noticed cracks up the walls on each corner of every window and all doors. There is also a big issue of having to keep the heat set at 75 since we moved in and still our rooms and bathrooms are freezing! So cold that you can almost see your breath. We have also noticed that our back patio is cracked in 4 different places. The doors on the back patio that go to the furnace are all banged up and scratched they have been since we moved in. Then we move on to the noise..OMG THE NOISE!.. I will stress we were the first residents in the building we are in and we were the only ones for about 2-4 weeks. Then our neighbors next door moved in and it was loud. I will say they are more quiet now except for the constant door slamming. However! The neighbors above us are a different story! They moved in at midnight of all times.. They were and still are extremely loud. I can hear music up until 2:30am-3:00am. I am not talking just a little base.. I am talking so loud it is like sitting front row at a concert. When I approached the manager about it she blew it off almost.. Her response to me was well you cannot complain because Red Hot Chili Peppers is a good band. Well as a person paying $1,135/month I do not find it cute to be woken up at 1:30am to music. We can hear every thing. The lack of sound barrier in these apartments is horrible. It is so bad you can literally hear them peeing, toilet flushing, shampoo bottles opening in the shower, dishwasher, washer, cell phone ringing, alarms in the morning, people walking, people going up and down the stairs, I can be in my living room and hear cars starting, people talking on the phone or others in their apartments. We have also had an issue with not having enough parking. There are 24 apartments in each building and only 17 parking spaces up to each building minus the 2 handicap spaces. So that isn't even enough spaces if each household had 1 vehicle. We do however have 6 spaces for guest parking on each side of the garages which all 12 are taken up already by the other buldings extra cars. Which sucks when the people around you with 2 vehicles for one household park both their cars up to the building. When we brought these (noise and parking) complaints to management she requested that we record the noise we hear in our apartment and bring it to her for evaluation and to snap photos of the extra cars in the parking lot. I am sorry but I wouldn't want people recording me and snapping photos of my personal property. We also have had issues with trash. Yes trash! The dumpsters fill crazy fast due to 2 building sharing a dumpster. People have been just putting trash bags in a giant box that someone placed next to the dumpster instead of breaking it down.So instead of management taking care of it she sent the construction workers to do it. With the trash being that way for weeks trash had blown all over the parking lot. We have a constant flow of bottles and trash all over the place and no one bothers to clean it up. We the residents are cleaning the parking lot and ashtrays due to no maintenance man. The residents should not have to be cleaning the parking lot with how much we pay to live here. Myself and other unhappy residents have been posting our reviews on their facebook page until today when they took down and deleted our honest reviews about this complex. I
