Bacon Academy, located in Colchester, Conn., was established in 1803. The school offers a wide variety of educational and co-curricular programs to more than 1,000 students in grades nine through grade 12. It offers a variety of programs, such as math, science, English, social studies, business and consumer education programs. Bacon Academy also offers art, physical education, language arts, technology, special education, and music and counseling programs. The school has a sports department that offers a variety of programs, such as baseball, softball, golf, tennis, and rack and field activities. It also offers cross country, football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling and indoor track activities.
