This place is way to expensive and the portions are small. I went there with my future wife and we where very disappointed. It will never be the DeNeroes and will never be as good. I will never go back there agian and tell my friends how over priced it was, the food was not even that good.

Love the menu. Been there twice. Because they're so new (and we live so close) we'll keep trying. A little rough around the edges with service but fingers crossed they'll get there. Love the remodel.

The menu is very limited. Four if us ate in the bar. Very noisy. Cheeseburgers were good but at $12 it should have been much better. Fries were very good, but I didn't go there for French fries. My friends ordered the fish and found it dry. Overall it's a nice looking place but the food did not live up to the hype or the concept of being a family restaurant. Too expensive for that.

Just got back from the Corner Stop. We liked the remodel in the dining area. Overall Dineros was hard to beat. We haven't found a favorite place since it closed. The people are nice and we hope the menu changes to a high quality home style type meal anyone can eat. The bar area sounded busy.

You're right. If your idea of "Fine Food" is what Deniro's served, then you will definitely be disappointed. We tried Deniro's many times, and eventually had to stop going. We couldn't be more thrilled to have Corner Stop in our neighborhood. The food is infinitely better, the staff pros, and the decor is beautiful. If you don't like noise, then don't sit in the bar! We're already regulars and tell all our friends about our fave new spot.

Hometown/local neighborhood eatery is a great place for an evening filled with vibrant energy, excellent food /wine list, and certainly professional and friendly staff . In a short visit from NYC , we had dinner with friends from Cohasset, and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at the bar, music, fire place and decor as well as array of delicious food from sea scallops to amazing pizza, salads and soups.. could go on and on, definitely did not miss being away from Manhattan! Until next visit! Bon chance.

We read the first review did not believe it could happen in this area! Last night after experiencing the wonderful dinner, we personally thanked the proprietor for saving us a trip to Boston or for that matter San Francisco! It is wonderful over all. Definitely will be back!

We had our family night Sunday at corner stop because we couldnt wait to try the new place in town. The kids menu is a nice break from the usual. They loved their pizza and mini burger/fries, and they even had salmon and salad. All for $8! ... great value. The hake special was delicious and my husband had the steak and caesar salad. We all left happy. There are even tvs, so you don't have to miss the game.

Great renovation, great, staff, and great food! Nice to have a quality restaurant in the neighborhood. Deserts are a must when you visit! Very tasty.

What a beautiful space! If you knew it as Deniro's, you won't believe the transformation. The bar is modern, but rustic and warm. There's a fireplace with couches in front that we sat at after dinner. The staff was really friendly and there are so many more dishes I want to go back for. We had the duck flatbread, my husband the shortribs, and I had an amazing Nicoise that I could eat every night! I'm so glad we have a beautiful, fun new place to go.

The menu was very limited. No pasta, no chowder, no lobster. I object to a $12 hamburg which was not worth the price. Caesar salad was also $12. The noise level in the bar is very high since they ripped out the carpeting. Overall, not a good experience. I do not recommend.

Was pleased to dine at the Corner Stop pre-opening. Such a fine departure from the dark and dank restaurant that was previously at that location. Of course the noise level in the bar has always been extremely high due to the cathedral ceiling, but the dining room is now so clean and cozy like a new home; it makes a nice retreat for those who choose. The young staff and the lovely menu though limited on the night I was there were a delight, all aiming to please. Brick chicken full of flavor from a goodly brine, full flavored grits with the short ribs yum, the sizable duck confit flat bread appetizer and the delectable legume humus with grilled sour dough toasts. I liked it all. Sure they'll have some kinks to work out but I'll certainly cut them the slack and def go again.
The restauranteur Ron Vale, who is responsible for the overnight success of recent Boston restaurants, Island Creek Oyster Bar/ Sorelina/ Lineage as well as overseeing Great Bay/ Eastern Standard- Lark Creek Inn in San Francisco, is opening his own restaurant in the very near future. As residents of Hingham, Cohasset and Hull know, there is a spot where the three towns meet. This is where the Corner Stop Eatery will open. We had the pleasure of dining in most of his Boston superb restaurants and are looking forward to sharing this exciting experience in our corner with the neighbors in our communit
