Located in Coeur D Alene, Idaho, Advanced Input Systems develops nearly 2,000 different input systems for more than 1,000 companies, including medical, electronics and defense. It manufactures custom user-interface devices and systems for original equipment manufacturers. Advanced Input Systems is an ISO 9001:2000-certified and 85,000-square-foot manufacturing center. Advanced Input Systems is an Esterline subsidiary and serves aerospace, defense and electronic markets through design and manufacture of high-end components and tools. It works on various projects, such as air traffic control, medical ultrasound, submarine-based sonar systems and naval surface-defense radar applications. Its user-interface notable customers include Siemens, GE, Philips, Kodak and British Telecom.
