Established in 1985, The Renfrew Center is a women's mental health care center that is located in Coconut Creek, Fla. The center provides psychiatric consultation, nutritional assessment, counseling, and individual and family therapy services. It also provides group therapy services on a wide variety of issues, including anorexia, bulimia, emotional eating, binge-eating, substance abuse, depression and sexual abuse. The Renfrew Center provides transitional living, intensive outpatient and residential programs for women suffering from mental disabilities. Additionally, it offers extended care services that include relocation assistance, financial, career and school counseling. The health care center has branches in Wilton, Conn., Ridgewood, N.J., New York City, Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Philadelphia. The Renfrew Center is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
