Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School is an internationally accredited educational institution since 1999 and also accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is located in Cocoa Beach, Fla., and offers curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through six. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students and is governed by the Brevard Public Schools District. It offers various subjects, including English, language arts, reading and writing skills, mathematics and number reasoning, science, social studies, and health and physical education. It provides a wide range of facilities, such as a library and media center, computer laboratory, music and fine arts rooms. In addition, Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that supports and sponsors a variety of events and activities throughout the academic year that include parent nights, catalog gift sales, spaghetti suppers, teacher appreciation weeks, pool parties and playground maintenance.
