I've had my cars serviced/inspected at Lew's. I've never been overcharged (and I am a woman) and they have always been very accommodating.

We just moved into the area and I was looking for a good mechanic. I have a 1 year old certified preowned car which I took to Lews to get inspected. He called me and stated that I needed $1430 in order to pass inspection citing everything from my struts (ALL 4!!!!) , brake pads, roters, and on and on and on!I was floored and told him not to do any work on my car. I could NOT imagine how I needed so much work done of my car. I took the car to our regular mechanic (drove 1.5 hours to get there from my new neighborhood) And he was in shock himself. I ended up needing $98 worth of service done to car and that was IT!!! I even had 60% of my brake pads still left so how did I need brake pads and roters??!!!This guy saw a woman coming and decided to say everything not covered under my drivetrain warranty needed to be replaced! NEVER AGAIN AND BEWARE to all future customers.
