Miramonte Elementary School is a California distinguished and Title I school that enrolls more than 750 students in kindergarten through grade six. It has been operational for more than 25 years and offers various academic courses, such as language arts, mathematics, science, foreign languages, health education and social science. The school has a library that stocks a variety of reading and reference materials, as well as offers an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. It provides English language acquisition, accelerated reading and character development programs. The school s gifted and talented education program provides a challenging curriculum and special instruction to gifted and talented students who are capable of achieving significantly beyond the level of their peers. It additionally offers various athletic activities, including cross country, football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, softball, baseball, and track and field.
