The sales people were very friendly and did a good job of fitting me for technique shoes. Only one of their sales people could fit customers for pointe shoes, so they had to make an appt for me to come back. I was disappointed, and a little confused on why they didn't train their employees on how to fit all of their products...

I love this place. The decorations are phenomenal. The people working are so friendly and actually know what they are talking about, which is a nice change of pace compared to the other stores in the Metro area. It was a sigh of relief to walk in here and see the spotlights shining on something that was actually worth looking at. This store is so worth going to. I spent over 100 dollars on my first trip in, and that was with the discount they gave me!

Elite Dance Outfitters is easily the best dance store on the west side of Des Moines. First of all, it is adorable. From the second that you step inside the store, the spotlights inspire any dancer and set the stage for what is bound to be a wonderful shopping experience. I love any dance attire, and they have many different leos, shoes, and other necessities. My favorite pair of sweats are from here. The service was excellent, and the two women working when I've gone in the past few times were more than helpful and willing to work with me. On my first time, they gave me a coupon for 15% off even though I had not seen the newspaper that the ad was in! If you have a chance, stop in here. You won't regret it.
