Provided by YPmobileDon't golf here ever! Very poor management and rude, bully of an owner. Went golfing with two brothers. Apparently there was an outing, so we started on the 10th hole, to do the back 9 first. Hal of the outing group comes up to us and asks us what were doing and if we are part of the outing. We explain what happened and the start cussing us out within seconds. Two of us had already teed off and they tell us to leave and go back. We try to talk to them, one loudmouth puts his hands on one of us, and they threaten us with "do you know who we are" type attitude and say " we run this town". After that we say we can call the cops and figure this out. They again say, "we run this town". We go to clubhouse an talk to management and they act as if they are gonna do nothing about it. Until we demand they go and talk to them. Apparently if you are friends of the management or owners you can bully people around, put your hands on them and threaten them. We leave and go start back on the first hole. By the time we get back to the 10th hole, we are approached again and conveniently some of those same guys are on 17 or 18. One calls my brother, a Marine veteran a jailbird because of his tattoos. Not noticing his tattoos are All USMC related. They basically skulk over us, watch and eye us and "forcefully suggest" we go and get a refund and leave. By the way, only got a half refund. No apologies and no explanations from management or owners. Apparently they were friends with the other group and didn't care about right and wrong. This site says 41 years of business, but since these new owners a few years back, this place has plummeted. To top it off, their Mother's Day Banquets have really gone downhill too. Nothin good about this once fine Clinton Twp. establishment. Pitiful!

Provided by YP.comBEWARE!!!!!!! Also beware if golfing at this establishment that if you happen to hit a car in parking lot of apartments right next to hole 2 that golf course policy is to have the tenant try and chase down and find who hit it and go after their own customers while they are golfing. You would think a golf course would put up a net in consideration of their neighbors, or have insurance for their sake or something not cheap out and scam their neighbors & customers. Guy from apartment complex wanted $800 for hitting is car with a golf ball. Again that is not fair to people who live in complex getting hit then having to chase golfers down with course playing dumb. So unless you want to risk showdown and payment to tenants maybe just play somewhere else!!!
So this place is horrible to customers when they interfere with drunk outings full of guys claiming to be "connected" and when assaulted by the group of 10+ drunks vs 3 guys the group and management suggest that we dont call the police because they wont do anything about it and we would be the ones taken to jail. So just watch out when going to this place not to interfere with the owners "connected" friends, or you will risk to much to play on an ok little course.

Provided by YPmobileI had my October wedding reception at Fern Hill Country Club this year. Everything about Fern Hill was wonderful! Melissa was such a great help with all my planning and questions. The food was amazing, and the manager was very nice. He took time to come and meet with us before our grand entrance. Our wedding photos from the golf course are my favorite out all! I would refer Fern Hill to anyone looking

Provided by YP.comI had to rate it a one because the web site would't let me rate it a zero. We went to the Mothere's Day brunch and I would have had a better meal if I had gone to Big Boy. For $25.00 you got to stand in a very long line because they seated the entire hall every 11/2 hours. Needless to say, there was mass confusion and long lines no mater what line you were in. If you waned a salad you had to stand in the dessert line as they were located on the same table. The line wraped around the entire table so you didn't know where it started and where it ended. People were cutting in line simply because they didn't know where to stand. The eggs were cold, the omlet table had only a handful of things to choose from. We had reservations for the noon seating. We were there on time and were seated promptly. We asked for chocolate milk for the grandkids and was told they didn't have any more. We then asked for skim milk and again was told they didn't have any. The only good thing I can say about the brunch is that they have good coffee. though I cant say it was worth $25.00 for a good cup of coffee.
