Sampson Community College, established in 1965, offers associate degrees and technical programs to students. The college offers a variety of courses in business and accounting, industry, allied health, natural sciences, computers, banking, business administration, information systems, criminal justice and human services. The technical courses offered by the college include architectural, construction engineering, digital media technology, automotive, graphics designing and law enforcement. The services offered by the college include housing and dining, financial aid, career counseling and planning, job placement, and medical assistance. It provides various sports activities to students, such as basketball, volleyball, football and cross country. Sampson Community College is located in Clinton, N.C., and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
