The owner now charges a fee to hold a puppy or a kitten, regardless of whether or not you intend to buy it. He is always incredibly crabby and not once have I received even sub-par service. It is a ridiculously run-down business, and I feel awful for the poor animals that are stuck there with such a greedy, careless man. It is just shocking that he remains in business.
